Where Our Story Begins
Austin Skin was born inside Austin Clinic, where decades of medical experience, specialist knowledge and daily conversations with patients revealed the same truth time and time again:
People want skincare that actually works — without irritation, overwhelm, or unnecessary complexity.
For years, our practitioners searched for products that were:
- Evidence-based
- Active enough to create change
- Gentle enough for sensitive skin
- Free from unnecessary additives
- Sustainable and ethically produced
- Simple enough for people to stick with
What we found was a market crowded with products that were either too active, too irritating, too complicated, or too superficial. So we set out to create something different.
Austin Skin was developed by medical experts, refined through real patient journeys, and built for skin that deserves both results and respect.
Our Clean Beauty Philosophy
Clean, but not compromised.
The clean beauty movement has grown significantly over the past decade, reflecting a shift toward safer, more sustainable and more transparent skincare. But clean beauty has also become a confusing space filled with fear-based messaging and “natural = always better” claims.
At Austin Skin, clean beauty has a different meaning.
Clean means:
- No synthetic fragrances
- No synthetic colours
- No parabens
- No phthalates
- No SLS/SLES
- No silica
- Mostly vegan formulations (non-vegan items contain ethically sourced honey or marine collagen)
- Cruelty-free
- No unnecessary fillers
- Evidence-based actives at effective strengths
Clean does NOT mean:
- Removing safe preservatives
- Using less effective “trendy” ingredients
- Fear-driven marketing
- Compromising on efficacy
